Nicole McCurdy, born and raised in Bryn Athyn, Pennsylvania, has always had a passion for art, but picked up her first paintbrush her freshman year of high school. Her journey into pet portraiture began after her extended family lost their beloved Goldendoodle. Wanting to preserve his memory, she painted her very first pet portrait and quickly fell in love with capturing the unique textures, colors, and personalities of animals.

What started as a heartfelt tribute soon grew through word of mouth into commissioned work for clients throughout her community. After spending two years in Colorado creating custom oil portraits, Nicole returned to the Philadelphia area, where she continues to create personalized paintings of pets, people, landscapes, and other meaningful subjects to celebrate special memories and life's most treasured moments.
